The Forest Service is making $49 million in grant funding accessible via its Wooden Improvements, Group Wooden, and Wooden Merchandise Infrastructure Help grants. The Forest Service is searching for proposals that help essential hyperlinks between resilient, wholesome forests, sturdy rural economies, and jobs within the forestry sector. Made potential by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation and the Inflation Discount Act, this funding will spark innovation, create new markets for wooden merchandise and renewable wooden vitality, and increase processing capability.
The Forest Service is requesting proposals from eligible entities within the non-public, non-profit, and authorities sectors together with Tribes, native and state governments, companies and for-profit entities, establishments of upper schooling, in addition to public utility, hearth, conservation, and college districts, amongst others.
