The Nationwide Wooden Flooring Affiliation (NWFA) has supplied flooring for its 75th house in assist of the Gary Sinise Basis R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment). The R.I.S.E. program builds mortgage-free, customized, specifically tailored good properties for severely wounded veterans and first responders. CW2 Scrogin joined the army following the 9/11 assaults. Upon graduating Primary Coaching with honors, he was assigned to the notorious 101st Airborne Division out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was deployed to Iraq and spent 13½ months in fight operations. Getting back from fight, he attended Warrant Officer Candidate College and Military Flight College, ending with honors. In 2007, whereas deployed in Iraq, he was concerned in a helicopter crash, leading to 9 fractured vertebrae, a crushed pelvis, and the lack of his left leg above the knee.
