In Memoriam: Beth Maxwell – Hardwood Flooring Journal


With unhappiness, we share that Beth Maxwell handed away on January 17, 2024.

Sarah Beth Burchfield Maxwell was the co-founder of Maxwell Hardwood Flooring, alongside along with her husband, Tommy Maxwell, the place she served as vice-president of the corporate. She used her instructing expertise in coaching and growth, which was key to the success and progress of the corporate. She was an instrumental supporter of NOFMA from the early years, believing strongly in its mission. She co-wrote the one and solely NOFMA Flooring Sidematcher guide, which is utilized in mills throughout the nation in the present day. She labored tirelessly to assist assist the individuals who labored for the corporate and liked them dearly.

A local of Crossett, Beth spent her final 35 years as a resident of Monticello, Arkansas. She graduated from Crossett Excessive Faculty in 1969, UAM in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in elementary schooling and had a protracted profession as a trainer within the Monticello Faculty District. She would by no means be removed from a soccer area as she was a Crossett Eaglet, a UAM cheerleader, a Razorback supporter, and the #1 Billie fan. Beth was a member of First United Methodist Church of Monticello.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tommy Maxwell, daughter and husband, Kristi and Dustin Prince, son, Wilson ”Wil” Maxwell, and her 4 grandchildren, all of Monticello.

Companies for Beth will probably be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2024, at First United Methodist Church in Monticello. Memorials could also be made to the Billie Basis Fund, First United Methodist Church, and Hope Place. View Beth’s obituary and ship condolences to the household right here.
